Habt ihr euch schon einmal meine (unvollständige!) Liste an Equipment, das man fürs Kartenmachen verwenden kann, angesehen? Ich habe einen ganzen Schrank voller Sachen. Es gibt Leute, die haben ein ganzes Zimmer voll davon. Und dabei braucht man für schöne Karten eigentlich gar nicht viel, wie diese zwei Beispiele hier beweisen.

How to
Das Panel habe ich aus Bristol geschnitten, etwas kleiner als die B6-Karte, auf die ich es zum Schluss geklebt habe. Breites Washi Tape hat mir zum Maskieren und gleichzeitig zum Befestigen des Panels auf meiner MAKE ART Stay-tion gedient. Die Stay-tion braucht man natürlich nicht, aber ich fand es praktisch, mich am Linienraster zu orientieren und sowohl Panel als auch Washi Tape danach auszurichten.
I cut a panel from bristol to be a bit smaller than the note card (DIN B6). Washi tape not only helped with the masking, but also to secure the panel onto the MAKE ART Stay-tion. You don’t need the Stay-tion, but I found it convenient to align the washi tape and the panel with the grid that the Stay-tion provides.
Zwischen den Washi Tape-Streifen habe ich dann mithilfe von Blending Brushes einen Verlauf aus vier Distress Oxides aufgetragen.
I blended four Distress Oxides between the washi tape strips. To do so, I used blending brushes.
Danach habe ich das Washi Tape vorsichtig abgezogen.
Then I carefully removed the washi tape.
Mit Memento Tuxedo Black und meinem Stamp Tool habe ich eine Blüte mehrfach über den farbigen Streifen gestempelt.
I used Memento Tuxedo Black and my stamp tool to repeatedly stamp a bloom over the coloured strip.
Den klitzekleinen Glückwunsch habe ich ebenfalls mit Tuxedo Black und meinem Stamp Tool aufgestempelt.
Again, I used Tuxedo Black and the stamp tool to stamp the tiny sentiment.
Mit Flüssigkleber habe ich das Panel auf die Klappkarte geklebt – und fertig.
I used liquid glue to adhere the panel to the note card – and done.
Die zweite Karte habe ich genauso gemacht: mit Washi Tape maskiert, mit Blending Brushes den Farbverlauf aufgetragen, …
For the second card, I did all the steps again: masking with washi tape, applying and blending inks with blending brushes, …
… mit Tuxedo Black gestempelt …
… stamping with Tuxedo Black, ….
… und zum Schluss das Panel mit Flüssigkleber auf der Karte angebracht.
