A flowery something from my birthday cards stash.
Diese Karte ist das Ergebnis einer meiner „Ich will mit meinem Bastelzeug spielen“-Momente – und Geburtstagskarten kann man nicht genug vorrätig haben.
One of my „I want to play with my crafty things“-moments resulted in this card – and you can never have too many birthday cards in your stash.
How To
Zuerst habe ich mit Layering-Stempeln und einigen Farbtönen Blüten, Stängel und Blätter auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt (wie das genau funktioniert, kann man bei Bedarf hier nachlesen).
I started with stamping the flowers, stems, and leaves onto white cardstock. The stamps are layered, and if you want to know more about how you work with stamps like that, please click here.
Mit den dazugehörigen Stanzen habe ich alle Einzelteile ausgeschnitten.
I used the coordinating dies to die-cut all images.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich eine Stanze benutzt, die eine Art Gitter ausstanzt. Mit Flüssigkleber habe ich dann sowohl die beiden Gitterteile als auch die Blumen auf ein weißes Panel geklebt.
I used a die that cuts out some kind of mesh for the background. With liquid adhesive, I stuck both pieces of mesh as well as the flowers down onto a white panel.
Mit Nuvo Drops habe ich ein paar Akzente gesetzt: Ein paar transparent trocknende Nuvo Drops habe ich direkt auf die Blüten gesetzt – als eine Art Tautropfen –, zwei Blautöne habe ich rundherum aufgetupft.
I used Nuvo Drops to add some interest to the card. To represent dew drops, I used clear Dew Drops directly on the blooms. Around the flowers, I added drops in two shades of blue.
Den Spruch habe ich mit VersaMark auf ein Stück schwarzen Cardstock gestempelt und anschließend weiß embosst.
I stamped my sentiment to black cardstock using VersaMark and heat-embossed it in white.
Den schwarzen Streifen habe ich dann zurechtgestutzt und wie eine Art Band um das Panel geschlungen und auf dessen Rücken mit etwas Klebeband befestigt.
I trimmed down the strip and wrapped it around the panel like a ribbon. To adhere it, I used a bit of tape on the back of the panel.
Mit etwas doppelseitigem Klebeband habe ich das Panel dann auf eine fertige Klappkarte geklebt.
I used double-sided tape to adhere the panel to a prefold note card.
