Cute polar bears deliver wintry Christmas greetings on these simple cards. The cards are not very elaborate – down below, you can find a quick tutorial.
How to
Zuerst habe ich auf ein Stück schweres Zeichenpapier mit Memento Tuxedo Black einige Bären aufgestempelt und sie mit Farbstiften koloriert.
First, I stamped out several bears onto heavy-weight cartridge paper, using Memento Tuxedo Black. I coloured the bears with coloured pencils.
Danach habe ich einige Bären mit den dazugehörigen Stanzen ausgestanzt und alles vorbereitet, was ich für die Karten benutzt habe: Panels aus Kraftcardstock, Schablonen, weiße Pigmenttinte, opaque Texturpaste in Weiß, einen Spachtel, eine Blending Brush und eine Arbeitsunterlage – in diesem Fall die MAKE ART Stay-tion von Wendy Vecchi. Dieses Ding ist speziell fürs Schablonieren entworfen worden. Ich habe es vor einigen Wochen erstanden und bin superglücklich damit.
Afterwards, I used the coordinating dies to cut out some of the bears. On the picture down below you can see what I’ve used to make the cards: panels from craft cardstock, stencils, white pigment ink, opaque texture paste in white, a palette knife, a blending brush, and a mat to work on – in this case the MAKE ART Stay-tion by Wendy Vecchi. This tool is made for stenciling. I bought it several weeks ago and am super happy with it.
Auf das Panel habe ich zuerst einen Schneehügel aufschabloniert.
I stenciled a snow hill onto the panel.
Aus einem Stück Kopierpapier habe ich ein Negativ zur Hügelschablone gemacht, mit der ich anschließend den Hügel maskiert habe.
I used a piece of copy paper to make a negative from the hill stencil. With it, I masked off the hill.
Danach habe ich mit einer weiteren Schablone und Texturpaste Schneeflocken aufschabloniert.
Afterwards, I used another stencil and texture paste to stencil snowflakes onto the panel.
Mit Memento Tuxedo Black habe ich den Gruß auf die Schneehügel gestempelt. Dazu habe ich mein Stamping Tool benutzt.
With Memento Tuxedo Black, I stamped the sentiment onto the hills. I used my stamp tool to do so.
Um den Bären mehr Dimension zu verleihen, habe ich pro Bär zwei weitere „leere“ Bären ausgestanzt und die insgesamt drei Stanzteile mit Flüssigkleber aufeinandergeklebt.
In order to give the bears more dimension, I die-cut two „blank“ bears per bear. I stacked the three die-cuts on top of each other (with layers of liquid adhesive between them).
Mit Flüssigkleber habe ich die Panels auf Klappkarten und die Bären auf die Panels geklebt.
I used liquid adhesive to stick the panels onto note cards and the bears onto the panels.
