Ich liebe interaktive Karten – vor allem, wenn sie so unkompliziert zu machen sind wie diese hier. Mit der Magic Picture Changer-Stanze von Lawn Fawn ist der Mechansimus nämlich im Handumdrehen gebastelt.
I love interactive cards – even more so if they are so easy to make like this one. With the magic picture changer die by Lawn Fawn, the mechanism is made in minutes.

How to
Damit ich weiß, wohin ich meine Motive stempeln muss, habe ich die Umrisse der Stanzen mit Bleistift nachgezogen – auch die inneren Kanten.
I traced all edges of the die with my pencil in order to know where to stamp my images.
Weil ich noch einen Hintergrund geplant hatte, musste ich die Motive maskieren. Die Masken habe ich aus Kopierpapier gemacht; hier lässt sich die Sache mit dem Maskieren genauer nachlesen. Gestempelt habe ich mit Memento Tuxedo Black (markerfreundliche Tinte) und mithilfe meines Stamp Tools
I planned to do a background, so I had to mask the images. I made the masks from copy paper; click here if you want to find out more on the topic of masking. I used Memento Tuxedo Black (marker-friendly ink) and my stamp tool to stamp the images.
Mit Chameleon Pens habe ich sowohl das Vorher- als auch das Nachher-Bild koloriert.
I used Chameleon Pens to colour both images.

Anschließend habe ich alles maskiert und einen sehr schlichten Hintergrund gemacht – mit ein wenig Tumbled Glass und einer Blending Brush.
Next, I masked everything and created a very simple background, using Tumbled Glass and a blending brush.
Nach dem Kolorieren habe ich den Cardstock samt Stanze durch meine BigShot geschickt – meine Markierungen haben mir geholfen, die Stanze richtig zu platzieren.
After colouring I ran the cardstock with the die through my BigShot machine. My pencil marks helped me to put the die into the right place.
Jetzt muss man die beiden Teile ineinanderstecken. Das ist wirklich einfach, aber mit Worten schwer zu beschreiben – am besten sieht man sich dazu ein Video auf YouTube oder direkt auf der Lawn Fawn-Website an.
Now it’s time to put together the two pieces. This is really easy to do but hard to describe. It’s best to watch a video tutorial on YouTube or directly on Lawn Fawn’s website.
Mit sehr schmalem doppelseitigen Klebeband habe ich den Picture Changer zugeklebt (Flüssigkleber funktioniert ebenfalls). Die Unterseite braucht man nicht nur nicht zukleben, man soll sie sogar offen lassen, sonst funktioniert der Mechanismus nicht mehr.
I used double-sided tape to close the picture changer (liquid adhesive would work as well). You not only don’t need to use glue on the bottom, you should not put any adhesive down there because the mechanism won’t work properly.
Aus Designcardstock habe ich einen Rahmen und eine Lasche (die Stanzen gehören zum Magic Picture Changer-Set) gestanzt und aufgeklebt. Damit der kleine Pfeil der Lasche besser zu sehen ist, habe ich den weißen Cardstockstreifen blau angemalt.
I cut a frame and a tab (both dies are part of the Magic Picture Changer set) from patterned cardstock and stuck them down. I coloured the white cardstock strip blue in order to make the small arrow of the tab more visible.
Mit Abstandsklebeband habe ich den Magic Picture Changer dann auf eine selbstgemachte Klappkarte geklebt.
I used foam tape to adhere the Magic Picture Changer on top of a selfmade note card.
