Wer kennt das nicht: Egal, wie groß der Tisch ist, an dem man bastelt – es ist immer zu wenig Platz. Gerade kleine Stanzen sucht man dann unter Bergen von Papier, dann fällt wieder eine zu Boden oder man muss immer alles gleich wieder verstauen.

Sound familiar? No matter how big your crafting table is, there is never enough space. Especially small dies tend to vanish under piles of paper or fall off the table – unless you store them right after using (and really, who does that?).

Daher war ich happy, als ich in einem Video von Simon Hurley über diese Idee (die er wiederum von einer anderen Bastlerin hat) gestolpert bin: In einen simplen Bilderrahmen gibt man statt eines Fotos ein Stück magnetische Folie. Das Glas lässt man einfach weg. Besonders praktisch ist es, wenn der Rahmen über einen Ständer am Rücken verfügt. So hat man seine Stanzen immer im Blick – und man verliert sie garantiert nicht.

So I was happy when I came across this idea while watching one of Simon Hurley’s videos (he’s got the idea from another crafter): Just put a magnetic sheet into a picture frame. Choose a frame with a stand on the back! This way you always know where your dies are – and they won’t vanish anymore.
