Diese Challenge-Sache macht wirklich Spaß – jetzt nehme ich zum zweiten Mal an einer teil, wieder bei AAA Cards. Dort werden immer CAS-Karten (also clean and simple, so schlicht wie möglich mit viel Weißraum) gesucht, und dieser Stil gefällt mir sehr.
This challenge stuff is really fun – that’s why I’m participating for the second time, again with AAA Cards. They are always looking for CAS cards (clean and simple with lots of white space), and this is a style I highly appreciate.

Weil ich zwei Beiträge bei der Kartenchallenge einreichen will, muss ich zwei verschiedene Links haben. Darum ist dieser Post doppelt.

Zum ersten Mal nehme ich an einer Kartenchallenge teil – und zwar bei jener von AAA Cards. Dort lautet das Motto stets: CAS – clean and simple. Und dazu gibt’s immer wieder Themen- oder Technikvorgaben. Dieses Mal soll nur ein Bild verwendet werden, optional kann noch ein Bezug zu einer TV-Serie hergestellt werden. Und hier sind meine zwei Beiträge:
For the first time, I participate in a card challenge – in this one by AAA Cards. Their motto is always: CAS – clean and simple. Additionally, there are topic or technique specifications. This time, only one image should be used, and as an optional twist, your card can refer to a TV-series. These are my entries:
Zur ersten Karte hat mich „How I Met Your Mother“ inspiriert. Und bei der zweiten habe ich an „Flipper“ gedacht. Der Spruch ist ein Auszug aus dem Titellied.
„How I Met Your Mother“ inspired me to make the first card, and „Flipper“ was my inspiration for the second card. The sentiment is part of the theme song.
Beide Karten sind sehr minimalistisch; bei der Regenschirmkarte habe ich gestempelt und mit einem Chameleon Pen koloriert, bei der Delfinkarte gestempelt und ein wenig Distress Oxide verblendet.
Both cards are very minimalistic; I stamped and coloured with a Chameleon Pen (umbrella card) resp. stamped and inkblended (dolphin card).

Habt ihr euch schon einmal meine (unvollständige!) Liste an Equipment, das man fürs Kartenmachen verwenden kann, angesehen? Ich habe einen ganzen Schrank voller Sachen. Es gibt Leute, die haben ein ganzes Zimmer voll davon. Und dabei braucht man für schöne Karten eigentlich gar nicht viel, wie diese zwei Beispiele hier beweisen.
Have you ever taken a look at my (incomplete!) list of supplies you can use to make cards? I have a cupboard full of them. There are people who have a room full of supplies! But to make beautiful cards, you don’t necessarily need much as these two examples prove.

Gratuliere, Magnolie! / Congratulations, Magnolia!
Die Magnolie, die ich für diese Karte benutzt habe, ist ein Überbleibsel eines anderen Projekts. Dank dieser „Resteverwertung“ war die Karte im Handumdrehen gemacht.
The magnolia I used for this card was a leftover from another project. Thanks to this reutilisation, the card was made in the twinkling of an eye.

Geburtstag haben während einer Pandemie ist doof: kein Besuch, keine große Party. Aber zum Glück darf der Postbote eine lustige Karte vorbeibringen – man wird ja nicht alle Tage vier Jahre alt!
Having a birthday during a pandemic sucks: no visitors, no big party. Luckily, the mail carrier is still allowed to deliver a fun card – it’s not like you turn four years every day!
Für die kleine Tochter von guten Freunden habe ich deshalb eine farbenfrohe Shaker-Karte gebastelt, komplett mit Einhörnern, die die Kleine mag.
That’s why I made a colourful shaker card for the daughter of good friends, featuring unicorns which the little one likes.
